Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service. The F&B Manager ensures that guests receive excellent customer service and that the hotel's food and beverage offerings are of high quality and meet customer
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement food and beverage policies and procedures to ensure that all areas of the hotel are operating efficiently and effectively
- Develop menus, specials, and promotions to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Oversee the purchasing and inventory of food and beverage supplies, ensuring that cost-saving measures are implemented where possible
- Supervise and manage a team of F&B staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation regulations are being followed
- Analyze financial data to determine areas for cost savings and increase profitability
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer complaints and improve overall operations
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other industry contacts
- Attend and participate in regular management meetings and training sessions
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager/Operations Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, food service, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Good business acumen and financial management skills
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
