Job Description:
We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Finance and Business Coordinator for the Canadian Excel Group, an international school based in Rawai, Phuket. The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills, be open to process improvements, and possess strong communication abilities, preferably fluent in English or actively studying to improve their English proficiency. This position will cover three companies under the group and offers a competitive salary of 25,000 to 30,000 (Monday to Friday), along with holidays and benefits such as discounted schooling.

Responsibilities:

Daily Bank Reconciliations: Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of bank statements, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.

Daily Accounts Payable Reconciliations: Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, matching with purchase orders, and ensuring timely payments.

Daily Accounts Receivable Reconciliations: Oversee the accounts receivable process, including generating and distributing customer invoices, tracking payments, and resolving any outstanding balances.

Daily Cashflow Projections: Prepare and maintain cashflow projections to ensure adequate liquidity and provide timely updates to management.

Supplier Management: Interact with suppliers, maintain good relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Building Corporate Discounts for Employees and Customers: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to establish corporate discounts, such as gym memberships, healthcare packages, and airline discounts, for both employees and customers.

Building Corporate Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with external organizations, such as sports clubs (e.g., Thai or foreign clubs like Liverpool FC), that align with the institution's culture and ethics.

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software (Quickbooks, SAGE).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Fluency in English or a strong commitment to improving English proficiency.
Prior experience in finance, accounting, and aim to gain an international accounting qualification which will be supported by the company (study leave and loan).
