- Massage Therapy Certification: a certification from a recognized body is essential.
- Practical Experience: Previous experience in a spa setting, whether in a hotel or a standalone spa, is highly valued.
- Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with clients, understand their needs, and provide appropriate recommendations is crucial.
- Customer Service Orientation: A strong focus on providing excellent service, ensuring client satisfaction, and handling feedback or complaints professionally.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with the products used in the spa, including their ingredients, benefits, and potential contraindications.
