Job Detail

The Housekeeper Manager directs and controls all housekeeping operations and the staff of the housekeeping department. He/she has to coordinate between housekeeping crews in order to inspect assigned areas and to ensure standards.

Job Responsibilities
-Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
-Oversee staff on a daily basis
-Check rooms and common areas, including lounge areas, for cleanliness
-Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
-Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
-Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
-Respond to customer complaints and special requests
-Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach and rubber gloves
-Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas

Qualification
-Gender: Male/Female
-Previous experience in hotel work preferred; will be given special consideration
-Excellent interpersonal communication skills
-Ability to handle and solve immediate problems effectively
-Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving
-Able to work well under pressure
