Restaurant Operations Manager
Location: Phuket, Thailand
Reports to: GM, Southern Food Services Co., Ltd

About Us: Our group currently oversees the operations of a number of restaurants across Phuket and wider Southern Thailand. Our brands include Lucky 13 Sandwich and Wokstar Express to name a few. Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Operations Manager to help oversee the operations of our restaurants across Phuket. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing branch relationships, ensuring operational excellence, and driving performance across all locations. Fluency in Thai is required as this role involves working closely with local team members to ensure alignment with company standards and the local market. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years’ experience in the food and beverage industry, with a passion for high quality food preparation and exceptional customer service.



Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations of restaurants to ensure consistency in service, food quality, cleanliness, and customer experience.
Ensure all branches are following company policies, brand standards, and operational procedures.
Conduct regular visits and audits to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide coaching to teams.
Work with teams to address operational challenges and implement solutions to optimize efficiency.
Business Development & Performance Monitoring:
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to help branches adjust strategies and improve market positioning.
Collaborate with branches to develop and execute local marketing initiatives and promotions to drive traffic and increase sales. This is for in branch dining and on delivery platforms including Grab, Food Panda, Line, Aroi Dee etc.
Monitor financial performance, including sales, costs, and profitability, providing regular feedback to teams to ensure targets are met.
As part of the central team, ensure the successful launch of new restaurants and support expansion efforts within Phuket.
Training & Staff Development:
Provide ongoing training and support to branches and their staff, ensuring they understand and comply with operational standards, menu updates, and customer service protocols.
Assist in hiring and training staff at new branch locations, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver a high-quality dining experience from day one.
Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations, providing guidance on best practices for food safety and sanitation.


Qualifications:

Language Skills: Fluency in Thai (mandatory) and English (conversational).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant operations.
Proven experience managing multiple restaurant locations and driving performance improvements.
Strong knowledge of restaurant industry trends, particularly in casual dining and online delivery platforms such as Grab, Food Panda, Line, Aroi Dee etc.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience coaching and mentoring teams.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in management reports, managing budgets, and improving profitability.
