POSITION SUMMARY:-

Ensure the highest standards of engineering with respect to the maintenance and preventative maintenance of all equipment, machinery, resort/hotel rooms, back of house spaces and guest areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• Reports for work on time wearing a clean and tidy uniform and neatly groomed per the resort standards
• To participate in the daily briefing with Management Team
• To understand and strictly adhere to the rules and regulations established in the Employees Handbook.
• To understand and strictly adhere to the hotel's policy on fire, hygiene, Health and safety and to handle all equipment, utensils and uniforms with care
• To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff of all other departments.
• To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
• To attend and contribute to all staff meetings and other related activities.
• Set up and maintain superior preventative maintenance programs
• Respond immediately to any and all aspects of maintenance and repair that affect guest satisfaction
• Assist in adjusting and remodelling the annual resort budget in order to extract maximum profit enhancement
• Work closely with the engineering team to keep up to date with the latest trends in resort/hotel engineering management programs
• Work consistently with all department heads in order to assist them with daily maintenance issues within their own areas of responsibility
• Take personal responsibility in ensuring all utilities are being used in the most cost effective manner
