Position : Assistant Front Office/ FO
Job Detail
**Qualifications:**
1. **Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in hotel management or reservations systems are a plus.
2. **Experience:**
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel reservations or front office operations.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred.
3. **Technical Skills:**
- Proficiency in hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS).
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with online booking platforms (OTAs) and channel managers.
4. **Language Skills:**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
5. **Personal Skills:**
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
6. **Customer Service:**
- Strong customer-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
7. **Flexibility:**
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.
8. **Sales and Revenue Knowledge:**
- Understanding of revenue management strategies.
- Ability to upsell rooms and hotel services to maximize revenue.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the Reservation Manager in daily operations.
- Manage and supervise the reservations team.
- Ensure accurate and efficient handling of all bookings.
- Collaborate with other departments to maximize room occupancy and revenue.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
