Position : Assistant Housekeeping Manager
Job Detail
Responsibilities
1. Staff, schedule, hire and train all housekeeping personnel.
2. Control all departmental costs including labor, guest room supplies and cleaning supplies, yet insure services rendered the guests are of the highest standards.
3. Ensuring communications and follow-up on any problems, guest requests or special requirements
4. Establish and maintain accurate inventory records on guestroom and cleaning supplies, equipment, linens and uniforms.
5. Ensure all personnel look after their equipment and treat them with proper care.
6. Schedule and conduct monthly staff meetings to maintain good communication and high morale standards within the department.
7. Establish good cleaning and preventative maintenance programs to ensure appearance and life of all furniture, fixtures and equipment.
8. Establish a cleaning program maintaining top quality standards in training, performance, procedures, and productivity pertaining to all public guest areas.
9. Work with all departments to meet their needs as it relates to Housekeeping.
10. Work with Assistant Cam Manager on yearly capital improvement program budget to management as well as yearly budgets for labor and operating expenses with relation to occupancy forecast.
11. Inspect daily all areas of responsibility, maintaining the highest quality of standards. This includes public areas, guest rooms, storage areas, Laundry, uniform, guest and linen areas.
12. Work with all personnel in Housekeeping in keeping all areas in top quality.
13. Maintain accurate ledgers and records on all housekeeping operations.
14. Ensuring proper training and procedures are in place to ensure provision of quality services.
15. Monitoring Housekeeping employees to ensure guests receive warm attention and personal recognition
