Accounts Payable duties and responsibilities of the job
Job description includes:
-- Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
-- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
-- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
-- Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
-- Understand expense accounts and cost centers
-- Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes
-- Maintaining historical records
-- Responding to vendor enquiries regarding finance
-- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
-- Continuing to improve the payment process
-- Assist senior financial officers as needed

Job qualifications and requirements
The qualifications in the following subjects would be beneficial for an Accounts Payable career:
-- High school diploma or equivalent
-- Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Clerk
-- Solid Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
-- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
-- Superb time management skills and detail orientation
-- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information
-- BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
-- Experience with accounting software , Quick book is a plus
