Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized culinary school.
Additional certifications in food safety, hygiene, and culinary arts are advantageous.
Experience:
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role.
Extensive experience in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or other hospitality environments.
Experience in various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Culinary Skills:
Exceptional culinary skills with the ability to create and present high-quality dishes.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices.
Ability to develop and innovate new recipes and menus.
Leadership and Management:
Strong leadership abilities to manage and inspire the kitchen team.
Experience in scheduling, training, and supervising kitchen staff.
Ability to delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely execution of duties.
Creativity and Innovation:
Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique and appealing dishes.
Ability to stay updated with food trends and continuously improve the menu offerings.
Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to plan and execute large-scale events and catering services.
Strong attention to detail to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
Communication Skills:
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
