PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Join our dynamic MICE & Product department of Phuket Branch. You will be in charge of the product development, quotation and support on ground to the MICE team in Bangkok head office for the major tourist destination.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create services and cost’s allocation in our stage of art in house system “Lemex”.
• Coordinate payment with finance team at branch, head office and supplier.
• Contact suppliers in destination (Phuket) for any type of request
• Guiding/ Coordinating: accompany the groups inspection and during event operation period from arrival until their departure, if necessary, supervise the set up and organization booking of excursion both sea, land and sky, co-check ins, gala dinners, conferences, and any other special requests required by every different group.
• Prepare and send quotations requested from the head office or any other department.
• Negotiate with suppliers and make sure that all is in line with the requirements
• Coordinate and work closely with other departments for any request.
• Handle last minutes require.
• Adhering to event safety standards.
• Support product development efforts for specific accounts or source markets
• Foster good relationship with hotels and suppliers
• Review contents, descriptions & rates of our products in destination when requested by Head Office in Bangkok
• Other tasks as assigned by the head of the department or MICE & Product supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Energetic & outgoing personality.
• Diligence and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in the hospitality and tourism industry
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, depending on the nature of the events.
• Able to travel at Sea to island in the Andaman Sea.
• At least 1-2 years of experiences in a travel & tourism company is an advantage.
• Able to work with foreign nationals.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Fluent commands of English, speaking and writing are essentialใ
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and computer skills
• Experience with MICE/FIT/GIT/series bookings and specific knowledges in Indian Market Phuket, Khao Lak are an advantage.
• Candidates must be detail-oriented, possess good skills negotiations is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Organized, ability to perform under stress, meet tight deadlines and be flexible with working hours especially during peak season, workweek, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Excellent multitasking ability.
• Willing to travel for work and spend time outside the office when required.
• A "Can Do" attitude and positive thinking that includes creative thinking is an asset
• Understand last minutes require.
• Conflict management skills.
