Position : Wine Salesperson / Sommelier
Job Detail
Key Responsibilities:
• Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of various wines, including regions, varietals, tasting notes, and food pairings.
• Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by being approachable, attentive, and responsive to customer inquiries and preferences.
• Sales Skills: Ability to sell wine effectively, including upselling and suggesting complementary products to enhance the customer's experience.
• Building Relationships: Developing strong relationships with customers, restaurants, and distributors to understand their needs and preferences.
• Tasting Events: Organizing and conducting wine tastings or promotional events to educate customers and showcase products.
• Inventory Management: Keeping track of stock levels, ordering new inventory, and managing the storage of wines properly.
• Market Awareness: Staying updated on industry trends, new releases, and competitor offerings to better serve customers and make informed recommendations.
• Communication Skills: Clearly conveying information about wines and pairing options, making the selection process enjoyable for customers.
• Problem-Solving: Addressing any issues that arise, whether it’s a customer complaint or inventory discrepancy, with a solutions-oriented approach.
• Passion for Wine: A genuine enthusiasm for wine, help to inspire and engage customers.
Qualification :
1.Preferably a Thai national
2. Certified as a Sommelier certification level 4.
3.Spoken English should be very good, as clients will be primarily speaking English.
4. 5-star Hotel Restaurant experience and with Sommelier training
5. Very good English and strong interpersonal skills
6.Sales skills, and will be responsible for selecting wines to stock, and programming wine tasting events.
