We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Storekeeper for our company facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of our inventory store, ensuring a seamless flow of materials from receipt to dispatch. This role is pivotal in maintaining our production efficiency by overseeing the storage, handling, and distribution of both raw materials and finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory Management: Ensure the proper reception, storage, and dispatch of goods. Maintain accurate records of stock levels and manage inventories to prevent shortages or excesses.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect all incoming and outgoing products to confirm their quality and compliance with specifications. Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues with product quality.
• Order Processing: Prepare and process order forms, and manage the entry and exit of materials using an automated supply inventory database.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe environment in the store area, adhering to safety regulations and ensuring all storage areas are well-organized and tidy.
• Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales, stock levels, and inventory movements. Generate reports and provide data to support procurement and supply chain operations.
• Staff Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of any assistant storekeepers and other personnel involved in store operations.
Requirements:
• Education: High school diploma required; further education in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role within a real estate or property setting.
Skills:
• Proficiency in inventory management software and database systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good physical condition and strength.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications: Certification in inventory management or supply chain management is a plus.
Working Conditions:
This position involves physical activities including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
The work environment is primarily within the store and warehouse areas of the manufacturing facility.
