Position : General Cashier
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cash Handling and Management:
• Balancing cash floats for the various department and reconciling petty cash.
• Responsible for managing and reimbursing petty cash.
• Open Front Office Safe each morning and count the Cash Sales and Guest Deposits.
• Deposits the cash to Accounting Safe through Financial Controller before going to the bank.
• Preparing bank deposits and ensuring collections are deposited intact.
• Deposits cash to the bank from Monday to Friday.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
• Maintaining accurate records of cash transactions.
• Prepare Daily Cash Deposit Reconciliation Report
• Prepare Daily Guest Deposit Reconciliation Report
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on cash collections and disbursements.
• Compiling cashier overage/shortage reports.
Other Duties:
• Printing checks following established controls.
• Liaising with departments on cash-related matters.
• Train outlet cashiers in cash handling requirements and procedures.
