Job Summary:
proALPHA Solutions is seeking a Senior ERP Test Automation Engineer experienced in web-based application testing and ERP systems. This role involves developing and documenting formal test strategies and plans, and leading testing activities for strategic projects to advance our ERP system. Collaboration with the product owner and development team is essential to understand system and user requirements, translate them into test suites and cases, and manage the testing scope. The role requires hands-on testing and the training and coaching of Junior Test Automation Engineers. Additionally, the role includes defining and tracking quality assurance metrics to ensure adherence to quality testing standards and procedures.

The ideal candidate should possess strong multi-tasking abilities, attention to detail, fast learning capabilities, and self-organization skills. Expertise in the software development life cycle and knowledge of quality assurance methodologies are essential. The candidate will perform hands-on testing on a proALPHA ERP system by creating and executing complex use case scenarios based on user requirements, following standard QA methodologies.

Major Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead all testing efforts for strategic projects related to the proALPHA ERP system.
• Train, lead, and coach Junior Test Automation Engineers.
• Define, document, and determine testing methodologies and strategies for the ERP project.
• Plan, execute, and deliver testing in accordance with industry best practices and quality standards within tight deadlines.
• Translate business, technical, and functional requirements into detailed test plans, test suites, and test cases, and execute scenarios to ensure maximum coverage.
• Provide data, functional, integration, performance, and regression testing as part of the project core team.
• Proactively identify bugs, seek resolutions, and maintain testing schedules.
• Track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test statuses.
• Escalate and mitigate identified testing risks appropriately.
• Detect, isolate, reproduce, track defects, and verify fixes through hands-on testing.
• Establish high-quality standards for junior team members.
• Test and regression test ERP modules.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience on web-based applications, functional, and ERP system.
• 2+ years Test Automation experience.
• Test Automation Experience with Gherkin, Cucumber, Jira Xray, GIT strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.


Knowledge and Skill Requirements
• Expertise in Test Automation is required.
• Experience in Gherkin, Cucumber, Jira Xray, GIT is strongly preferred.
• Experience in training and coaching Junior Test Automation Engineers is an advantage.
• Testing experience with ERP Systems is an advantage.
• Understanding of full software development life cycle methodology.
• Experience writing test plans, test suites, and test cases for ERP systems.
• Hands on testing experience in a complex, fast paced, highly results oriented environment.
• Experience with identifying, creating, and executing functional, integrational, and regression test cases.
• Experience using Jira and ServiceNow for bug management.
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
• Extremely detail-oriented.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Thai.
• Self-motivated and a problem solver.
• Fast and independent learner.
