**Job Title:** Director of Food and Beverage

**Location:** Wanda Vista Resort Phuket Island Laya, Phuket, Thailand

**Reports To:** Hotel Manager

**Job Summary:**
The Director of Food and Beverage will oversee all aspects of the Food and Beverage (F&B) operations, including both F&B Service and Culinary, at Wanda Vista Resort Phuket Island Laya. This 5-star hotel includes 300 hotel rooms, 2 restaurants, 1 bar, 1 coffee shop, a banquet facility, and in-room dining services. The Director will ensure the highest standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction while driving financial performance and operational efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Leadership and Management:**
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the F&B Service and Culinary teams.
- Recruit, train, and develop F&B and Culinary staff to ensure a high level of competence and performance.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale among staff.

2. **Operations Management:**
- Oversee daily F&B Service and Culinary operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to optimize service delivery and efficiency.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to create and maintain high-quality menus.

3. **Culinary Excellence:**
- Ensure the culinary team delivers high-quality and innovative cuisine that meets guest expectations.
- Monitor kitchen operations to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning, food sourcing, and kitchen management.

4. **Financial Performance:**
- Develop and manage the F&B budget, including revenue forecasts and cost control measures.
- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement processes to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

5. **Guest Experience:**
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service and product quality.
- Address guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Innovate and introduce new concepts to enhance the F&B offerings and guest satisfaction.

6. **Banquets and Events:**
- Oversee the planning and execution of banquets and events, ensuring seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Work closely with the sales and events team to coordinate event logistics and deliver customized experiences.

7. **Collaboration and Communication:**
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure integrated and efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively with staff, management, and guests to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve F&B operations.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in F&B management, preferably within a 5-star hotel environment.
- Proven track record of leading and developing successful F&B Service and Culinary teams.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and cost control.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
