Job Summary
The Head of Admissions plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the entire admissions process at Finnway International School Phuket. They are responsible for attracting and enrolling qualified students, maintaining positive relationships with prospective students and families, and ensuring that the admissions process aligns with the school's overall goals and objectives. The Head of Admissions will embody Finnway's commitment to innovation, collaboration, respect, sustainability, and well-being while promoting the school's unique Finnish-inspired educational approach.
Responsibilities
1. Admissions Management
1.1 Oversee the admissions process
• Manage the entire admissions process from inquiry to enrollment.
• Provide clear and effective communication to prospective students and families.
• Conduct school tours, admissions interviews, and orientations in collaboration with the Head of Departments.
• Emphasize Finnway's unique Finnish-inspired curriculum and holistic approach to education during the admissions process.
1.2 Recordkeeping
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student and application records.
• Manage admissions-related documents and databases.
1.3 Policy Implementation
• Implement and enforce the school's admissions policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in admissions, particularly those relevant to international schools and Finnish education principles.
2. Customer Relationship Management
2.1 Engage with prospective students
• Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students and their families.
• Answer inquiries and provide comprehensive information about the school's facilities, programs, and assessment procedures.
• Highlight Finnway's commitment to student well-being, creativity, and independent learning.
2.2 Data Collection and Improvement
• Collect feedback from applicants and parents to improve the admissions process.
• Collaborate with school administration to enhance the admissions experience.
3. Student Recruitment for School and Programs
3.1 Goal Achievement
• Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed enrollment targets.
• Identify and target key demographics to increase student enrollment.
• Analyze conversion rates from inquiries to enrollments through surveys, follow-ups, personal communication, or other methods to gather data for improvement and weekly present it to school leadership.
3.2 Opportunity Creation
• Develop and execute outreach strategies through various channels, such as online campaigns, events, and partnerships, both within and outside the organization.
• Organize programs or seminars for parents to understand grade transitions or preparation for further education at other schools.
4. Marketing Collaboration
4.1 Utilize Marketing Channels
• Leverage various marketing channels, such as social media, email marketing, and community outreach.
• Ensure all marketing efforts reflect Finnway's unique educational philosophy and values.
4.2 Program Development and Initiative
• Develop and initiate admissions programs, including program details that are relevant to student recruitment, and understand parent concerns regarding grade transitions or school exit.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional and advertising materials that showcase Finnway's innovative approach to education.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make adjustments as needed.
• Partner with the creative team to produce engaging content for the school's website and social media platforms, brochures, flyers, and digital content that promotes student recruitment and highlights Finnway's unique offerings.
4.3 Event Management
• Organize and manage school events, open houses, and information seminars to attract prospective students and families.
• Represent the school at education fairs and community events.
• Participate in PTA events as a school representative.
4.4 Market Analysis
• Conduct market analysis to understand the competitive landscape, identify growth opportunities, enrollment trends, and marketing campaign performance to refine strategies.
• Stay informed about trends in international education, particularly those related to Finnish-inspired curricula.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in admissions or a related field.
• Familiarity with educational curricula is a plus.
