Make a Difference in Young Lives: Teacher Assistant at Finnway!

In this rewarding role, you will play a vital role in supporting our lead teachers and enriching the learning experience for our primary school students.

What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and effective learning activities aligned with the Finnish Approaches to Learning.
- Assist teachers in daily classroom activities, including instruction, supervision, and preparation of teaching materials.
- Foster a stimulating and nurturing learning environment that caters to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Lead classroom activities in the absence of the lead teacher.
- Oversee students during non-classroom times, including in-between classes, during lunch, playtime, and on-field excursions.
- Support students with individual or small group instruction.
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment, fostering positive student well-being.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to recognize issues students are facing and recommend solutions.
- Assist teachers in documenting student progress and communicating with parents to keep them informed.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.

Who We're Looking For:

- Thai National: Must possess a bachelor's degree in Teaching English. A valid teaching license or certification is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a teacher assistant or similar role.
- A strong understanding of the Finnish Approaches to Learning (or a compatible international curriculum) with a solid foundation in core subjects.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
- The ability to create a stimulating, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with fluency in English is essential.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Experience working in an international school (preferred).
