Position : Engineering Supervisor

Job Requirement:
The Supervisor MEP/EE works in the Facility under the Assistant Chief Engineer/Chief Engineer. They are responsible for the daily operation of the Facility department and team. The job duties of an Supervisor MEP/EE entail technical, interpersonal and administrative responsibilities. They are responsible for coordinating and scheduling their team, as well as ensuring
quality work. In some cases, they may have a role in hiring and termination decisions. They will have hands-on duties such as troubleshooting and repair when needed. Administrative duties such as inventory and budgeting are part of the job.
Specific Responsibilities:
• The Supervisor MEP/EE will oversee a team of electricians as they maintain a large electrical system and ensure the proper schedule is kept. The supervisor must be effective at motivating their team, as
well as giving a frank but constructive assessment of the work done.
• The Supervisor MEP/EE needs to be a skilled hands-on electrician. They will generally have extensive experience in the field. They must be able to perform emergency repairs on their own, as
well as take charge of troubleshooting their employees work.
• Supervise and advise all engineering staff performing duties in public areas, report daily.
• Ensure observance of all engineering staff and completion of projects.
• Control energy cost control.
• Control and verify report all engineering log sheet entries.
• Check and follow work-orders for all other departments required.
• Support operations and maintenance of all safety equipment and coordinate inspections, trainings, and reports.
• Perform and adapt shift duties, split shifts.
• Follow-up all problems or defects and report to Asst. Chief Engineer.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness of all area and proper uniforms for all engineering staff.
• Maintain maintenance of all electrical and mechanical equipment Daily, Weekly, Monthly Yearly.
• Supervise water supply and waste water management.
• Perform other duties that may be required by the Asst. Chief Engineer.

They provide technical guidance regarding the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems. Prospective electrical supervisors should seek an associate's degree in an engineering or technical field or a bachelor's degree for the possibility of greater career options.
